Below
are the terms and conditions we follow for each
account. Abiding by these terms makes a better
working condition and business relationship for us
and for you.
Our payment policies are subject to change.
All
checks must be made payable to: Deborah Walker
PRICING
- Web
Design
Initial Layout and colors which includes homepage
only - $150 and up.
Each Additional Page is priced separately depending
on content and time involved. Pricing starts
at $25 and up for additional pages. If an outside template is
purchased from our recommendation we pass that price
along to our client. Most templates range from
$25 to $35. Once the template is purchased and
downloaded, we charge our standard price of $30 per
hour to customize the template to meet the needs of
our client.
- Web
Redesign
Basically the same as the Web Design pricing listed
above although the prices vary depending upon the
amount of work needed.
- Web
Maintenance
Charged at $30 per hour for larger updates and page
additions, etc.
Minimum updates within a time slot of 15 minutes or
less are always "free".
- Web
Hosting
Hosting prices start at $15 per month payable at
$180 per year. Non-profit
organizations will receive a discount.
Web Hosting is an Annual Renewal.
When we begin a
web design for a new client, we require a down
payment of $125 to start. If
this doesn't fit your budget, a payment plan can be set
up for you. Once
the down payment (deposit) check has been received and
work on your website design has begun, a refund is NOT
available. If the down
payment (deposit) is not received within the first
10 days that the website work has begun,
any pages that have been started will be removed
from the internet until the down payment is received in full.
Web Design, Web Redesign & Web Maintenance are all one-time fees
payable when the service is completed. Web
Hosting and Domain Renewals are annual fees that are
billed each year.

IMPORTANT CHANGE IN BILLING
FOR BALANCE OF NEW WEBSITE DESIGN
Balance Due Payment
The balance for the total design & hosting
charges is due 10 days after your website has
been approved by you and goes online. Late or
non-payment of the balance due will result in the
removal of your website from the Internet until
payment is received in full. An additional fee
will be added to your original balance to
place your website back online. If you have
requested payment options at the time of our initial
consultation, we will set up a payment plan to fit
your budget. If those terms are not met on a
monthly basis, your website will be removed until
such payment(s) are received.

Please
note: All website design charges are a
one-time fee and are non-refundable. Any additions and/or web
maintenance thereafter is billed as a separate
charge and is non-refundable.
All
requests for updates and changes must be submitted
in writing by e-mail or an attachment of a Word
document by e-mail or hard copy by postal mail.
Anything of an urgent nature may be phoned in to us
but please follow-up with a written request for us
to keep in your file.
Changes
& updates are billed at an hourly rate of $30
per hour. As always, we provide minimal
changes for free (anything under 15 minutes).
For larger websites we do offer some updates to be
included in the annual hosting charge as they are
termed as maintenance under contract on a weekly
basis. Maintenance under contract websites are
given top priority and will be completed within each
time frame specified for that particular website.
NOTE:
All web maintenance is regarded as a one-time fee
per instance.
IMPORTANT
CHANGE IN BILLING FOR MAINTENANCE & UPDATES
Payment for maintenance services rendered is
due within 10 days of work completion.
A late charge of 5% will be assessed to
payments not received by the due date and for
each billing period (every 10 days) that
payment is overdue.
Non-payment of maintenance charges (after 30
days) will result in the removal of the
updated page(s) from your website. Your
updated page(s) will not be added back on your
website until the initial payment including
the late charge(s) are paid in full.

StLWebDesigns.com
will register and manage a single domain name at the
rate of $35.00. Multiple Domain Names to a
single client will be charged at the rate of $25.00.
The client is listed as the owner (registrant) of
their own domain name.
All new domain name charges are due within 10
days of registration. If you have an
e-mail address on record with us, your invoice will
be sent to you by e-mail otherwise you will receive
it by postal mail. In the event payment is not
received within 10 days, your name will be removed
as the registrant until payment is received in full.
All
domain names managed by StLWebDesigns.com are set up
to auto-renew annually at the rate of $35.00 for a
single domain name or $25 for multiple domain names.
IMPORTANT CHANGE IN BILLING
FOR DOMAIN NAME MANAGEMENT
All domain name renewal charges are due 30 days
PRIOR to the renewal date. Your invoice for your
domain name renewal will be mailed to you
approximately 60 days PRIOR to the renewal date.
If you have an e-mail address on record with us,
your invoice will be sent to you by e-mail otherwise
you will receive it by postal mail.
If payment is not received by the due date on your
domain name invoice or if you do not contact us
prior to the due date, your domain name will be
removed from the auto-renew status and you will risk
losing your domain name along with your website.
If your domain name does expire, there could be a
waiting period of 3 months or more before it would
be available again although there is always the
chance that someone else will register it before you
do. Auto-renewals are an important tool in
domain name management and they guarantee the
security of keeping the domain name that reflects
your business. Please pay promptly.
Domain Name charges are not refundable.

hosts all websites that we design unless previous
arrangements have been made for hosting. Web
Hosting is an annual fee and will be billed annually
unless prior arrangements have been made. It
is important that hosting charges are paid promptly
to avoid removal of your website from the Internet.
PLEASE
NOTE: Any annual hosting charges that were
previously paid to us will not be refunded if you move
to a different host regardless of when you decide to
move.
Website
Ownership
We believe that once the website design and the
first year of hosting has been paid in full, the
ownership of the website belongs to the client,
excluding any copyrighted custom graphics or
original photographs taken by us. If you
decide to move your website to another designer
and/or host, we require that you let us know in
writing (15 days) prior to the move and that you
request permission to use any of our copyrighted
custom graphics or any photographs taken by us that
were created solely by StLWebDesigns.com. In
some instances of using our copyrighted custom
graphics, a small one-time fee may apply. You
will have our full cooperation during your move
provided you follow the terms stated above.
